The D stands for both Denny and Dalia Gilpin, who design jewelry for their small, upscale jewelry shop in the heart of Bethesda's shopping district. While the shop has a great selection of exclusive earrings, bracelets, pendants, titanium wedding bands and rings on display, ranging from $50 up, they'll also custom design a piece for you and invite you to see the work in progress. She's got a more contemporary aesthetic, while he's more traditional, and together their sensibilities can satisfy a wide range of tastes. While the two buy stones and certified diamonds for their designs, they'll also redesign jewelry and estate pieces with your input.
